Un juego con una calidad notable, que se queda a las puertas de la gloria por culpa de algunos detalles discutibles.

Overall, Cyber Speedway is a tough, but rewarding futuristic racing game. This one is pretty close to a must-have for all Saturn racing fans.

Advance looks at WipeOut for the Playstation, a similar anti-gravity racing game, how that much greener pastures are streaking our way. Nonetheless, renting Cyber Speedway for a weekend will enjoyable introduce you to next-generation racing, though you'll reach the finish line in no time at all.

Overall, Cyber Speedway for the Sega Saturn is mediocre and mostly forgettable. The “story” is weak and could have been omitted. The soundtrack is terrible, especially compared to Wipeout. The graphics are barely average and the game is too short. The lack of any variety in the sled selection is disappointing. Still, at the end of the day, the game is at least fun to play, while it lasts. For racing fans only.

This may be the Sega answer to Sony's Wipeout, but Sega only deserves partial credit. In just about ever area in which the former inspires awe, Cyber Speedway only imitates in a mediocre way.

The Video Game Critic
Cyber Speedway's soundtrack consists of a bunch of acoustic guitar numbers, and while there's nothing wrong with them, they seem awfully inappropriate for a futuristic racer. The game's "story mode" attempts to add depth, but it just forces you to sit through a bunch of still graphics and endless dialogue. Cyber Speedway may not be the worst racing game for the Saturn, but it's close.
