The backgrounds are gorgeous, and sometimes the screen will scroll up really, really far. Options allow you to adjust the difficulty mode and turbo speeds. The only thing that bothers me is the prospect of having Spiderman fight Captain America - I can only pray that this unfortunate situation never occurs in real life. All in all, Marvel Super Heroes is my favorite fighting game for the Saturn.

With all the standard Capcom cues in place - big sprites, fast action, multi-hit combos and colorful super moves - MSH is basically a Street Fighter game with your favorite caped and capeless wonders filling in. A good time will be had by all - unless you're looking for 3-D action and linked combos. Otherwise, Saturn owners better save room on their shelves for this great arcade port.

High Voltage Online
Overall, a solid conversion of an older arcade title makes an excellent addition to a Saturn library, despite minor (sometimes aggravating) flaws. If you’re a Capcom fan, you’ve either already got it, or are drooling at the prospect of owning it.

Defunct Games
Knowing they couldn't live off of Street Fighter II all their life, Capcom made an important decision: they were going to license! Marvel Super Heroes may not be their first license (Yo Noid was), it was an important building block in what would end up being the turning point for the Street Fighter series.

GameSpot
Marvel Super Heroes is a Street Fighter Alpha-style fighting game that features characters from the classic Marvel Comics lineup. Four characters (Psylocke, Wolverine, Juggernaut, and Magneto) return from Capcom's previous comic-based fighter, X-Men: Children of the Atom. New characters include Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, and more. It was an exciting arcade game, but the Saturn version falls a little flat by comparison.
