Defunct Games
First there was NBA Jam, a revolutionary four player arcade game that made more money than just about anything, ever. Then there was the inevitable ports to systems ... lots and lots and lots and lots of systems (so many systems it's easier to count the consoles NBA Jam is NOT on). And now there's the sequel, NBA Jam: Tournament Edition, which is more of the same.

Digital Press - Classic Video Games
It's undeniable that NBA Jam is a classic. It paved the way for more Midway sports games like NFL Blitz and the recent MLB Slugfest. If your dying to play the game and an arcade is nowhere to be found, this is the way to go. The extra options, codes, and customization options are worth the price of admission to anyone who enjoys the gameplay.

NBA Jam: TE for the Saturn is a perfect translation. All the characters, codes, hot sound and off-the-wall hoop action are here for you to enjoy. The zoom effect is seamless and player faces are distinguishable. All in all, you won't feel ripped off when you pick up your copy of this overrated title. Rest assured that all of the cheap plays, inaccurate player profiles and repetitive, unintelligent strategies are packed into this little disc. That said, it is addictive as hell.
