If you like Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, or Quake, then Powerslave is for you. This is technically the best FPS for Saturn, although I do enjoy Duke Nukem 3D with NetLink a bit more on the subjective side.

Hobby Consolas

Defunct Games
If you're a first-person shooter fan and enjoy games like DOOM, Quake and Duke Nukem, then this is definitely one you'll want to try on your Saturn. When you pick up your Saturn you may not immediately think of the first-person shooter genre, but PowerSlave proves that it can be done. This is easily one of the best shooters on the Saturn, and definitely one of the best games on the system.

The Video Game Critic
Powerslave is a strong title, but it has two major flaws. First, there are too many "one-hit" deaths (like exploding pots) which force you to restart the stage from the beginning (ugh). Second, the save system is terrible. It's not documented anywhere, but the game automatically saves periodically to your system memory, so make sure your console has a fresh battery! Powerslave isn't as spellbinding as it once was, but its visuals have aged well and its fast pacing and commendable violence make it worth revisiting.

GameSpot
Power Slave is a first-person, 3-D action game featuring the standard grunts, explosions, and gunshots players expect from any Doom clone. Taking on the role of the lone soldier, players are sent into an Egyptian city crawling with enemy forces. The mission: Exterminate said enemy infestation at all costs. Yawn.
