Description
This is a Japanese-style adventure game based on the popular TV animé series Neon Genesis Evangelion. A girl named Mana Kirishima arrives at Tokyo-3 and studies in the same class with Shinji Ikari, the series' main hero. About the same time, a giant robot attacks the city. Is there a connection between the new student and the sudden assault?
Unlike the two other Neon Genesis Evangelion games, "Koutetsu no Girlfriend" doesn't have any action sequences. You control Shinji by telling him where to go, looking at people, and talking to them. There are no FMVs in the game - all the images are still animé pictures. The game was developed by Gainax, the creators of the animé series.
