All Game Guide
Space Hulk isn't a game for everyone, and even those that enjoy it will find some things to loathe about it. But overall, given the creativity of the game and its willingness to expand the FPS genre, it should find a small but loyal audience.

The Video Game Critic
Although the frame-rate is far smoother than the 3DO version of Space Hulk, the hallways look far more pixilated. Also problematic is how the cursor moves way too fast on the map screen. Space Hulk's gameplay requires a lot of trial and error along with a heavy time investment. In my humble opinion, it's just not worth the effort. It may have been an adequate 3DO game, but on a system like the Saturn, it just doesn't measure up.
