Sports fans who got into the Saturn market early should be extremely proud with this title. Worldwide will certainly pass the time until more sports titles become available in the coming months.

That's not to say that Worldwide Soccer isn't a credible game, because, in actuality, it is a very good game. It's the kind of game you can pick up, play and immediately start having fun. The graphics are nice, but not quite on par with EA's gorgeous FIFA for 3DO. The sound consists of poor glam rock muzak in the background that'll drive even the biggest Bon Jovi fan to dive for the mute button.

This is truly next-generation gaming. It's really hard for a game to capture my interest, but this is one awesome soccer game. The rendered field and players are top-notch; I have never seen such fluid polygon graphics on a video system. Great rotation and zoom effects on instant replays. Cool radar feature. If you're looking for a soccer game that has some guts, this is the one for you.

Victory Goal is een beest van een voetbalspel. Ongecompliceerd, prachtige graphics en met name het inzoomen op de aktie maakt het een lust voor het oog. Mijn vingerblessure meer dan waard.

I seriously can't find much fault in Worldwide Soccer, except for the bothersome fact that there aren't any soccer hooligans to follow your team from game to game. There should have been a space on the option menu for it. The game's controls are intuitive and will be easily picked up by novice players.
