Kinda surprised this hasn't been mentioned here yet, but the mysterious "The Entertainer" sound device this game supports has been recently identified:
In short, it's an earlier version of the Innovation SSI-2001 that reportedly never made it to market, complete with C64 SID chip. I'll leave what happens with the tech spec up to someone more knowledgeable about things PC than I.
