Trivia

Although there is a chef on the cover, this has a bit of inaccuracy, since restaurants can only be run if you have the Nightlife expansion pack.

It's not uncommon to have known music inside games, but for Open for Business, the English synthpop band Depeche Mode recorded a version of their song "Suffer Well", using the the Simlish language from the game for the lyrics.
