Description
Slender's Woods is a first-person horror game where the player has to escape from the evil entity known as Slender Man, originally invented in the Something Awful website forum. After your wife left, your life in the city became unbearable and you decide to stay a short while at your parents' abandoned house in the woods. Everything was just fine until one night when you heard strange noises outside. When the protagonist goes outside to check whats is causing the noise, Slender Man appears briefly and from there on it is a matter of life and death. Notes spread across the woods tell the story of Cody Farrior, another person that tried to escape Slender Man and the player now walks in his steps. Slender Man will appear more frequently as the game progresses. Looking too long at Slender Man will drain the player's sanity.
This game was inspired by
Slender: The Eight Pages, the first Slender Man game, and because of that the player can also choose to play the "Page collecting mode" in which 6 pages must be collected to complete the game. If the player beats both Story mode and Page collecting mode, a small bonus is unlocked.
