MechWarrior 3050 is just the thing for Jungle Strike fans. And if you're looking for something more challenging that a droid sortie, the two-player mode will definitely singe your armor.

Total! (Germany)

Oh no! Another mech game! What this? It's got a two-player mode? And the graphics look kinda cool? And there's even some real tough missions? Wow! You know, this one might be worth a shot! Try this on a rental basis first! It's OK!

But even though you'll never see the end without cheating, you'll still enjoy 3050's gorgeous, fast-moving graphics and the sheer thrill of blowing stuff up with a big robot. The verdict: An excellent conversion of a very good Genny cart.

I may get dumped on for this, but I'm not into the whole Battle Tech thing. This game has very little luster for me. As a one-player game, you will get hit hard and fast to the point of frustration. The Two-player mode is a lot more playable. Overall, the game seems to have the options, weapons and mechs to appeal to fans of this genre, but as an outsider, I wasn't pulled into it's world. The controls and gameplay take a lot of patience to really reap any reward.
