Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage

You gotta be loony to pass up this cart. Weak sound and daunting gameplay aside, this game is a keeper, it's a solid addition to any SNES library.

Our beloved bunny is in danger from a lunatic animator who's throwing him into one misadventure after another. Inconsistent technical quality and over used sound effects are a drawback.

A fun game, great characters, easily accessible and ideal for younger game players. Lacking in serious gameplay, but who cares when it's full of great sounds.

It's obvious that Sunsoft took very few shortcuts when creating Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage, but the game has a significant problem that overshadows its playability. The controls are very poor. They don't completely ruin the game, but they are sluggish and unresponsive. It's a shame an otherwise excellent game is marred by such a fixable problem. With all its positive traits, this game is worth picking up, even though playing it can be frustrating.

While the game can be a bit frustrating to play at first, Rabbit Rampage becomes very enjoyable once you get over the hump. The graphics are very cartoon-like and add to the atmosphere of the Bugs Bunny theme. There's load of technique with lots of hidden rooms to discover. If you're a Bugs Bunny fan, this game is a lot of fun. But be prepared from some frustrating game play until you master it.
