Earthworm Jim

Rest assured, you're not looking at another also-ran character in the action game category. Earthworm Jim carves (digs?!) out a niche for himself as a '90's Sonic or Mario. I'm gonna leave you with a bit of advice you never thought you'd run across in a video game magazine; be an early bird and get the worm!

This game rules and I think everyone should try it. It's got cool graphics, nice sound, lot's of levels and if the games to hard for you there's codes for it so don't give up. I happily give this game.

This is definitely a game for anyone with a sick mind and an itchy gamepad finger. If any of you weirdos out there are searching for someone you can identify with, Jim is the worm for you.

Earthworm Jim is ready to set the side-scrolling genre on it's ear...er, head! With great graphics, superb humor and imaginative gameplay, this cart will really worm it's way into you heart!

Earthworm Jim is a totally unique character, with plenty of animations and unique characteristics, plus this game milks them for all they're worth (along with a few inside jokes). The levels are huge and extremely challenging with hilarious bosses and other assorted enemies. Only gripe: there could be a few more continues. Launch that cow!

Even though it doesn't quite match the Genesis version for sheer quality, the SNES version of Earthworm Jim is still a damn fine platform game, with loads of challenges, great graphics, plenty of secrets and laughs a mundo. Bring on the sequel!
