The Good
Nice and colorful.
The Bad
Bad sound, very muffled. Bad music, sounds funky. Bad graphics, very blurry. Tight, but imprecise controls, making doing many moves tough. No bounce on Mai's winning stance, and game seems short, with other things missing like background quirks, the guy on the scooter, the rotating world (this may be in the the game, as I do press start a lot to speed up my personal progress in the game) and the characters seem small.
The Bottom Line
I suggest the following games to replace this game if you can: Fatal Fury 2 for the Genesis or PC Engine, Fatal Fury Special on Game Gear, Sega CD, SNES, or PC Engine, buy the Neo-Geo originals on cart of CD, or even the Neo-Geo Pocket Color versions are better. This really feels rushed on both Takara and SNK.
