Brilliantly conceived and expertly programmed, Zelda: A Link to the Past is a captivating experience that will appeal to gamers of all ages. It simply doesn't get much better than this.

If a rewarding and immersive experience is what you crave, you wont' find better on the Super Nintendo. Truly, this is a masterpiece. We need more games like this!

The best of them all... That's one way to put it. This game came out about three-and-a-half years after the somewhat criticized Zelda II, which had put people into two camps about the game. One camp thought of the game as an unusual but very worthy successor. The other camp believed it was a lousy game with no real connection to the series design, which is partially true. This game was going to be the original, but supercharged, and that delighted all Zelda fans. In April 1992, Miyamoto released one of the greatest epics in all of Video Game history. Within three minutes, you knew this was one for the ages, and that Miyamoto had done it again.

Förutom att detta spel har det trevligaste namn som skådats så är det också det tuffaste rollspel som förekommit på konsoll.

The Zelda fans will like this game due to its old-school Zelda style. The game is creative as any Zelda game is. With 3D environments and fully interactive charcters, the game just gets even better. LttP will keep you coming back for more. There is nothing better than a hardcore, pure Zelda game.

Only a few games reach such lofty heights. This one is remarkable in most every way, and brilliantly executed.

For everything that has gone right with a game like this, it's incredibly hard to find anything wrong with it. A Link To The Past defined a whole generation of adventure-genre gaming, And is considered one of the great gaming masterpieces to come from Shigeru Miyamoto.

This game is if you ask me THE BEST VIDEO GAME EVER!!!!!! This fab adventure takes Link through a total of 13 big dungeons with as many bosses. The first SNES game to sell in more than 1 million copies. This is that kind of game that when you has started to play you´re stuck, you wont leave it until you have finished it. It completely takes control of your mind and you can´t think of anything else! The king of games. A fantastic adventure that you will come back to after a while to play it through again and again just to feel the magic of Zelda 3 once more!!

The best adventure you can get for any console. It's the bees knees, it's the cats whiskers. It's the donkey's armpits - it's Zelda 3.

Link to the Past does what every good game sequel should: it retains all the magic of the original, while adding some truly fun innovations to the formula. This game was the uncontested king of its franchise all the way up until the N64 era, and arguably beyond. If, like me, you've never gotten into these games, this is an ideal one to start with - even more so than the first. If you already played this way back when, or you started with one of the later titles, this one's definitely worth the backtrack. As games go, it's nothing short of timeless.

This is a slick and hugely addicting game, with graphics and gameplay of the highest order, which could well monopolise your life for weeks.

Back then, there weren’t a great deal of games that could provide the player with a lot of freedom. Most games were either fighting games or platformers, and most of them weren’t very good. Nowadays you have comparatively huge amounts of storage space, MMORPG’s that provide unparalleled freedom, and technology that creates more realistic worlds than ever before, but back in ’92, this game, was basically, the shit. And it still rocks my world to this day, albeit in a much more portable form.

This game is a masterpiece, and should be handed down your family tree for ages. If you have never played this game, I suggest finding this game in it's original cartridge, but if you don't have a Super Nintendo, and you were desperate like me, I suggest using the Emulator. Where I come from, the Emulator is our friend. This is probably one of the best Zelda games ever made. I think it's even better than the N64 version, but it's all up to you.

Zelda 3 effectively combines exploratation, monster fighting, and puzzle solving with an interesting fantasy world. The fun of Zelda 3 lies in searching high and low for new places and items, and learning all about the culture and history of Hyrule while becoming a part of it. It's also full of surprises, especially if you try playing it in a few different ways (ex. passing up certain items/hearts, clearing the dungeons out of order). Zelda 3 delievrs an excellent experience in the classic 2-D style adventure. New copies of Zelda 3 are still available in many areas, since Nintendo re-issued the game several times. If you don't own this game, consider buying it; it's well worth your $20-$30 for a new copy.

While A Link to the Past doesn’t quite match the overall excellence I found in both Legend of Zelda and Adventure of Link, it does deserve credit for, at times, achieving a level those older games couldn’t reach. With a handful of excellent, creatively-designed dungeons, as well as a few bosses that provided far more entertaining opposition than any I’d taken on in the series’ previous games. I just wish things could have turned out a little better, as there were a few dungeons and bosses that were less than memorable, while many of Link’s overworld tasks can feel like busywork, rather than an actual fun experience.

Although it’s predecessor perhaps had a little too much variation for its own good, A Link to the Past deviates from the NES side scrolling adventure of the prequel and relates to gamers once more with some excellent gamplay, coupled with gorgeous graphics and the classic Nintendo style and charisma that the company had acclaimed to. The developers have done wonders with this title, heck, they even ported it to the GameBoy Advance, and memories will never die of one of the most grand Zelda adventures of all time.

As time goes on, A Link to the Past becomes all the more significant a title. The game represents all of the features associated with the earlier games in the series, while at the same time introducing some stylistic and thematic elements that would factor prominently into the later titles. Its place in the Legend of Zelda series as a whole is thus very important, and more than that, it's also a fantastic game to play. Basically, you haven't really played Zelda until you've played this game, and play it you should.
