Summary

Probably the easiest of the early Historical Simulation Series games from Koei

The Good

The detail on the historical information (it is in all of Koei's Historical Simulations), the names of rulers, what happened when it really did. There are many scenarios, starting in the late second century and going to the three rulers coveting control of China (Liu Bei, Cao Cao and Sun Quan). It is actually the easiest of the early Historical simulations Kou Shibusawa produced and designed. It was a bit looser on giving more gold for more peoples loyalty (In January), and more rice for full land value (in July) than the others in this series.

The Bad

You can not recruit other rulers once you have captured them, they must be released (if theres an open space) or executed. The music got annoying after awhile because the tracks are too short.

The Bottom Line

Any History buff should play this, especially if its Chinese History you are into.
