Buy it. Play it. Love it. Stunt Race FX is cool!

Another "cute" Nintendo title? Obviously you haven't had your hands on the wheel in Stunt Race FX! This game kicks! The play control is out of this world! The attention to detail is truly superior... in the master tracks (cockpit view) rain not only beads up on your windshield, but the screen becomes properly distorted within each individual droplet of water! The play control may take some time to become accustomed to, but take the time--its worth it! The bonus levels and the motorcycle are a blast too!

If Virtua had attitude, then Stunt Race FX has it beat in personality and playability. It's the difference between playing a game and being a part of it. True, Stunt Race FX has difficult controls --- but stay with it because it's worth it.

Wildtrax offers a brilliantly varied menu for one player, and plays well enough in two player mode to make it one of the best racing games currently available for any home system.

Von diesem sehr enttäuschenden Alibi-Zweispieler-Modus abgesehen, hat sich der zweijährige Aufwand gelohnt: Stunt Race FX brilliert als geschickter Mix aller althergebrachter 3D-Rennspielideen: Die Präsentation ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben und läßt dank der sehr bunten und schnellen Grafik die Konkurrenz locker hinter sich zurück. Nintendo-typisch wurde natürlich auch an der Langzeitmotivation gefeilt und die Batterie zum Speichern nicht vergessen. Auch die Menge der Strecken verblüfft – wo andere gerade drei Strecken in satte 16MBit bekommen, packte Nintendo 20 in 8MBit. Kritikpunkte bleiben die ungewöhnliche Steuerung und der vernachlässigte Zweispieler-Modus. Solltet Ihr jedoch auch gerne mal alleine unterwegs sein und ein außergewöhnliches Rennspiel neben Mario Kart suchen, dann greift zu Stunt Race FX!

There are a few issues with the visuals and the limited two-player option is disappointing, but there is a great variety of well constructed tracks to hold your interest. Trying to shave just a little off your times (particularly in Free Trax) is where you'll get the most enjoyment, meaning Stunt Race FX will keep you occupied for a long time.

Okay, so it's not as serious racing game, but it doesn't try for that, which you'll know right away from the eyeball headlights. It still delivers a good time, especially if you're not old enough to drive.

Nintendo's second FX-chip based game isn't as good as I expected. It just didn't seem to have the overall fun that StarFox did. It features four racers that have noticeably different handling characteristics so the purists among you will be happy. The variety of tracks also prove to be challenging. However, the game feels awkward with the touchy steering and the feeling of speed just isn't there. Overall, there are better racing games on the market. It's just too bad since I had high expectations for it.

Som man kanske kan gissa när man hör namnet på spelet så innehåller kassetten en FX-krets, men trots det så är grafiken ganska rutten.
