Summary

The best platform game ever

The Good

I am not even going to bother describing this game, as far as platform games are concerned, this is as good as it gets. but just for the hell of it; basically the goal is to jump and run through several different worlds, each containing a number of levels, to reach the final castle and rescue the princess, just like all other Mario games. What sets this apart is the fact that there can be several different exits from the levels, and these are not always easy to find. And to add to that, Mario not only has a new ability (the cape) to use, he also gets the aid of the Yoshis, friendly dinosaurs that use their powers to help Mario on his quest. The level design is perfect, or as close to perfect as you can get, and everything else just shines. The controls, the graphics and the music are, in my opinion, perfect. There just isn't any game that beats Super Mario World, not now, not ever.this is simply the best platform game ever, and the best 16-bit game ever.

The Bad

There is nothing wrong with this game. everything is great.

The Bottom Line

This is the ultimate platform game. There is nothing wrong with this game. If you are looking for the best of the best and you've missed this game somehow, do not hesitate, this is as good as it gets.
