Top Racer ist dank flotter Grafik und hoher Spielbarkeit (die Gangschaltung auf die seitlichen Taster des Joypads zu legen, ist eine sehr gute Idee) eines der bisher besten Konsolenrennspiele. Nur der Sound ist etwas müde - aber das kann echte Bleifüße nicht vom Gasgeben abhalten.
