The Jungle Book is a beaut-looking cartoon caper that'll keep you busy, put a smile on your face and have you humming" Yoo-hoo-hoo, I wanna be like you-hoo-hoo..." all through dinner.

Lead young Mowgli through ten treacherous levels, swinging from vines and hurling fruit. Detailed graphics, a catchy soundtrack and solid gameplay keep you riveted. The Genesis version surpasses the SNES one in playability with its wider variety of weapons and better all-round layout and trimmings.

Another Virgin platformer which makes up for its lack of originality with great graphics and sounds.

Don't be put off by the cartoony, good-natured gameplay: This long game is deceptively difficult, made harder by the lack of continues and passwords. However, the lush jungle graphics and personable characters will make you want to forge ahead. This is one Book worth reading again.

Typical Virgin treatment: astounding graphics and character animation. Jungle Book has all these qualities in addition to good control and huge levels to explore. This makes a fine addition to the other Disney games.
