With almost breathtaking predictability they've done it as a platform game. The graphics are nothing special, although the characters faces are quite good, and the sound consists of words like "excellent", "not" and "shwing". It's really, really boring to play - just jumping about collecting things, with little incentive to keep at it.

There is only one way to avoid the sheer tedium of the oh-so-dull levels, the ropey and downright unfair collision detection. the floaty controls and the enormous monotony factor. And that's to not buy it.

With music as the theme, one may hope it would at least sound good, but this has the worst excuse for music since Leonard Nimoy's debut album. Wayne's World isn't even worth playing to laugh at - despite the cheesy dialogue and fashionable mullet. It sucks that bad. No way!? Way!

None of these are interesting or funny, and their overall designs are painfully monotonous. Assuming the role of Wayne, you shoot at monsters with a guitar and perform tedious jumps between platforms. The controls are anything but exact, and perpetual cheap hits force you to fire non-stop. Wayne's digitalized face looks impressive, but you'll tire of his one liners in a hurry. The few lame references to the film include a "No Stairway to Heaven" sign in the music store, but in general the game does a miserable job of capturing the spirit of the movie. Even the music is weak, mainly consisting of generic guitar noise looped over and over. To say Wayne's World is "not worthy" is an understatement. If I have to play it again, I may spew.
