Solitaire King: Accordion
Description
Solitaire King: Accordion is a freeware, mouse controlled, single player card game, it can be played in a window or in full screen mode.
This title was of a number of freeware games that the developer released to promote interest in the full product Solitaire King which had thirty-one different games and over eighty variations thereof.
The game is played with a standard deck of fifty-two ans starts with all the cards in the upper left of the screen with the entire deck placed face down save one card which is to the right of the deck and is placed face up. Cards are placed to form a row running left to right across the screen and wrapping round when the row gets too long. After each card is placed the player looks for valid moves which are; - any card can be stacked onto its left hand neighbour if they are of the same suit or the same rank - any card can be stacked onto the third card on the left if they are of the same suit or the same rank - stacked cards are treated as a single card when considering moves
The aim of the game is to finish with just all the cards in one stack. The game has save/load and undo/redo functions but has no sound and no statistics are kept. Unlike many of the Solitaire King games Accordion has no game variants.
