Description

Solitaire King: Shamrocks is a single player card game.

This game is played with a standard deck of fifty-two cards and the object is to arrange the cards in four suited ascending sequences, from ace to king.
The cards are dealt into seventeen fans each containing three cards, this leaves one card free which forms a pile on its own. Fans/piles containing a king have that card moved to the bottom, aces are moved to the foundation cells when they are the top card of their pile. The player moves cards between the piles forming descending sequences, e.g. an eight can be placed on a nine of any suit, the restrictions being that only the top card of any pile can be moved and no pile can contain more than three cards.

The allows a rule variation which is accessed via the menu bar, this permits cards to be moved between the fans in either ascending or descending sequences.

The player scores one point for cards moved to the foundation but scoring stops as soon as the player uses the Undo or Load a saved game options.

The game has save/load and undo/redo functions but has no sound and no statistics are kept. It is played entirely with the mouse
