At its core, Spartan: Total Warrior is a sandal-shod hack-'n'-slash . You play as a lone warrior slicing and dicing through legions of foes. However, the varied scenarios in each battle adds depth to Spartan: Total Warrior.
Although there's plenty of slashing, you'll also protect a village, hunt down assassins and lead an assault on a Medusa-powered WMD. With so much all-out warfare going on around you, you almost forget that you're playing a single character.
Many weapons associated with ancient Greece make their presence felt. When it's at its best, Spartan offers an unparalleled sense of size and scope. Some environments are truly massive, and the action is nonstop.
You can also go arcade-style in the Arena Challenge mode. You are one man facing wave after wave of enemies. How long can you survive?
