TriviaThe Windows version Speed Busters: American Highways starts off with a live-action movie that sets up the story behind the game. The premise is that some police men have gone crazy and are rewarding players who speed past thier radar traps with big money. For this Dreamcast port, the story was completely changed. The opening movie was replaced by an animated cinematic consisting mostly of in-game footage.
