St. Paul's Invaders

Description

To help raise awareness of a campaign to maintain a local hospital, St. Paul's ("an acute care, teaching and research hospital located in downtown Vancouver"), a clone of Space Invaders was produced, depicting an endless horde of real estate developers descending upon the beleaguered hospital, firing down upon its sole defender with sinister dollar signs, who returns fire up the screen. As in Space Invaders, a few barriers provide temporary protection before they are worn away by the battering, and a bonus enemy periodically flits across the top of the screen. The enemies' relentless march from side to side and down row by row is also as in the game's classic predecessor.
