Respekt!

The Force Unleashed bietet solide Action-Kost.

WindowsIGROMANIA (Nov 22, 2009)
WindowsGame Over Online (Nov 27, 2009)
Overall I see SWFU as a sloppy console port of a game that was probably pretty great on the consoles (though I never played it there). Unoptimized, it has some controller issues (it might work better if I had a game pad, and if I didn’t hate game pads) and sound problems. I’ve played worse Star Wars games, way worse, but I’ve also played better ones. This one falls solidly in the middle of the pack. Star Wars fans will probably welcome this little excursion in the canon storyline (and at least one serious break from canon in the Hoth level). Non-Star Wars people and neutral Star Wars people (especially people running short on hard drive space like myself) would be better served looking for their Xmas jollies in one of the other big titles this season.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Ultimate Sith Edition is just an extended version of the game that was released last year. It doesn't fix or change anything in the original game - it just gives you a few more levels and some new skins. If you don't already have the game, give it a look. If you do, you might just want to go the DLC route.

Xbox 360Worth Playing (Nov 15, 2009)
The Ultimate Sith Edition may have all of the DLC and one extra level, but a good chunk of the extras doesn't add that much to the overall experience. If you've been meaning to pick up the game after all this time, you'd be saving money if you pick up this one since the price of a used version, coupled with DLC, will cost more than this package at retail. If you already picked up the original game a year ago, though, your best bet would be to rent this if you're interested in extending one branch of the story line.
WindowsGameplay (Benelux) (Nov 27, 2009)
WindowsGameZone (Nov 16, 2009)
Given the emphasis on storytelling and single-player action, The Force Unleashed is tragically flawed execution of a great concept. The Ultimate Sith Edition seems to ignore these problems, rather than attempt to fix them. A serious refinement of the combat, with a few extra gameplay modes thrown in, would definitely up the ante for a sequel.

So will the game’s sometimes-sputtery performance. Unless you’re rocking a quad-core iMac or Mac Pro, expect to dial the resolution down to 800x600 and still tolerate some choppiness. Our 2.8GHz Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro (bought late last year) definitely struggled with this game at times, which is just nuts. If you’ve got even a lick of Star Wars fan in you, Force Unleashed is wicked but flawed fun. Just be prepared to suffer some indignities--none as grave as Jar Jar Binks. We promise.

WindowsAbsolute Games ( (Dec 23, 2009)
Xbox 3601UP (Nov 03, 2009)
By the time the final confrontation abruptly concludes and the credits start to roll, it reminds me of how much The Force Unleashed was a missed opportunity, one that was crafted and contained within the technology (much like the recent prequel films) and never allowed to grow into something great like LucasArts would like us to believe it was. If there are indeed another "two dozen" levels that they could make, I would suggest letting those go, perhaps, to unleash the talent on a brand-new game.
MacintoshMacworld (Mar 11, 2010)
But the control issues of the original console game are only exacerbated by a terrible port job. Some segments of this game aren’t fun, but feel like chores. Moments like the Star Destroyer battle and others featured in the game’s trailer (a reason why the game had such expectations) are neutered by Quicktime events. I never thought I’d say this, but if you’re going to play this game, your money might be better spent on the Xbox 360 or PS3 version. A myriad of technical issues, glitches, and a complete disregard for the Mac platform makes this hard to recommend over other titles.
WindowsGameSpot (Nov 05, 2009)
It's a wonder that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition for the PC was released at all considering the insignificant effort that seems to have been put into it. Even in the realm of sloppy ports, this one seems particularly egregious, considering its almost total lack of visual options and performance troubles. It's unfortunate that this version feels so rushed because in spite of the core game's scattered flaws, it's an ultimately enjoyable adventure that tells a great story populated by memorable characters. Alas, if you're a PC enthusiast who is tired of rushed console ports, The Force Unleashed is another game to add to that ever-growing list.
WindowsAdrenaline Vault, The (AVault) (Dec 26, 2009)
It’s a fun playthrough for first-timers, for the experience if for nothing else, but previous players should stay away because you’re basically just re-buying the game with a smattering of extra content. Ultimate Sith Edition might be the most competent on-foot “Star Wars” game in a long time, but does that make it worth purchasing twice?
