Step On It!

Moby ID: 34385

Description

Step On It! is a Macintosh-exclusive puzzle platformer, ever-so-slightly similar to the famous Lode Runner series. There are many differences, though. You make your way level through level collecting loot and avoiding baddies, of course, but there is added complexity in movement.

Your character must build bricks to jump onto or use as support, which can also be destroyed. With those bricks you navigate along both the x and y coordinate systems, making your way around the world. They are also used to block off enemies (assuming they can't destroy bricks themselves!) and uncover secrets by building over them.

The enemies all bear likeness to toys but don't let your guard down; contact with them is always fatal. You have your common platform-fodder ones, but then there are balls which spin around all surfaces, robots that shoot lasers, and much more.
