Deceptively simple, s strangely addictive sequel to first star's original 'Boulderdash'. The charm of this game lies in its treatment of the logic and laws of simple cause and effect: dig beneath boulder- boulder falls: stand beneath falling boulder- you get crushed (not unlike the arcade hit, 'Dig-Dug'" Large mazes are negotiated via smooth- scrolling screen. 16 caves to explore filled with diamonds and surprises (some deadly). A good time suitable for all ages.

Super Boulder Dash, and I said, "Oboy, a
construction set!" Unfortunately, no--but
it's still a great buy. You get a two-sided
disk that contains the original Boulder
Dash on one side and 20 new screens on
the other. The graphics are still impressive,
and the design is one of the best I've
ever seen. One suggestion: EA gives hints
on how td solve each screen; use them if
you need them, but try to do without
them first--one of the joys of this game is
discovering what works.
