Super Sidekicks 2: The World Championship is a continuation of Super Sidekicks, a 2D arcade football/soccer game. The player can choose from one of 48 teams - There are 6 groups with 8 teams in each one: Europe A: Italy, England, Spain, Holland, Switzerland, Norway, Turkey, Ireland Europe B: Germany, France, Bulgaria, Sweden, Russia, Greece, Belgium, Romania Americas/Oceania: United States, Mexico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras Asia: South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan (as Republic of China), China, Iran, Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates South America: Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Colombia, Bolivia, Uruguay, Peru, Ecuador Africa: Cameroon, Morocco, Nigeria, Egypt, South Africa, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Zambia Gameplay is simple, and typical for the genre - the player controls all footballers in the team, and must win the match with rivals. Three buttons are used for shot+low pass/sliding, high pass/tackle and short pass/player change.
