Description

Talking Addition & Subtraction is an educational game for children ages five to eight that teaches math using only the numerals one to ten. The game contains four different activities: * Sets and Numbers: The player is asked to type a number between one and ten and will then hear the number spoken, see it written as numeral and word and as a set of objects corresponding with the number.

  • Picture Problems: The player is presented with ten problems to solve and simply has to enter the correct answer. Two tries are allows for each problem.
  • Working with a Number Line: The screen shows a number line with a frog and the player has to click on the number corresponding to the problem given to make the frog jump there. Each problem has two steps and two tries are allowed.
  • Coloring through Math: The player is presented with the outline of a picture where each segment has a number. As problems are given the player has to click on the segment with the corresponding number. Answering correctly leads to that segment being coloured.
