Description official description
The events of Targhan take place in medieval times; the game's setting and gameplay are similar to those of Golden Axe. The plot involves a lone warrior traveling the land far and wide, killing all manner of beasts, with the end goal in mind to kill an evil lord who has gotten too big for his britches.

Targhan, the protagonist, also appears as a playable character in the Ishar series of computer role-playing games.
Cancelled ports
Color Dreams announced plans to convert this game to NES and Genesis but nothing was ever released.
French version
A French version of this game was released for DOS which had a different title screen. Most of the game's text in graphics were still in English though.
