A time devourer

The Good
It was one of the GameBoy games that I kept playing over and over again at the very beginning of the 90s when I was yet to own a true computer (better than Atari 800 XL, that is). It is captivating, challenging, and satisfying as you master it more and more. The controls are intuitive, and the graphics is clean enough. What's more to want from such a simple game?

The Bad
Nothing I can think of, really. For its kind it's flawless.

The Bottom Line
As bumping a tennis ball goes, this is one of he most rewarding titles you'll ever come across. Regardless of the fact it's 20 yrs old and handheld.

Quite good a game for a gameboy classic game.

The Good
The gameplay is quite good, and the AI is one of the best, it provides quite a challenge for all gamers, I laugh a lot when I see Mario as the judge (what's your average superhero plumber doing judging a Tennis game?), there are different levels, I personally think that level 3 is the toughest level in the game, if anyone thinks he can't win level 3 he doesn't suck at this game (it took me 5 hours to finally finish it!), I actually enjoy a tough challenge like this game once in a while.

The Bad
The sound is just horrible, and I mean really really bad.

The Bottom Line
This game is one of the best 1986-1990 classic gameboy games ever released. 4 out of 5. Thanks to Nintendo for developing and publishing this game. It is truly a classic.

Never been my cup of tea.

The Good
It's another one of those "Game Boy must-haves" that everyone has, but it's not so good really. Decent title music, fun for a few minutes and seeing Mario as the judge is always a bit of a laugh, but nothing more.

The Bad
Pretty annoying controls, terrible sound and genuinely repetitive gameplay. It's BORING. What's more, maybe I really suck at this, but I've never been able to beat the computer at level 3. Just seems impossible.

The Bottom Line
Pretty bad game overall, without much going for it and plenty against it. It's just boring.
