Thomas Was Alone is a puzzle platformer starring different shapes. They need to be brought to an area of the level designated by a white outline of the shape. Once it is inside, the screen fades and the game moves on to a new environment. The shapes can move around and jump. They hop over obstacles and water is deadly. When dead, the game immediately reloads. Initially the game only offers a single shape, but in later levels more shapes are introduced that are controlled by the player. They need to work together, creating platforms to reach higher areas. They are not controlled simultaneously, instead the player switches between them with a key. To complete a level all shapes need to reach their designated spot. The game was created in 24 hours.
