Description
Alpiner is an action game where your goal is to climb safely to the top of various mountains! Each of the six mountains you climb will have various obstacles which should be avoided; falling rocks, avalanches, wild animals, trees and brush fires can all hinder your progress. To complete each level you need to climb to the top of the mountain. Being hit by the obstacles will cause you to fall down the mountain a bit (some obstacles cause you to fall a short distance, others a long distance), and should you fall all of the way to the bottom of the mountain a life will be lost. To help you anticipate obstacles, voice synthesis will provide a warning when danger is near. Each mountain has a time limit in which it must be climbed, though the timer only counts down when your climber isn't moving. As you progress through the levels, the mountains become higher and obstacles become faster and more numerous.
