The franchise still isn't quite perfect --there are a couple of omissions and oversights that we'd have preferred were addressed-- but it's easily and without doubt the best golf videogame experience in years, and one deserving to be thought of in the same light that Madden is to football.

The game is not perfect because of the many flaws that hindered the gameplay but it will be the best golf game you will find on any console. Hopefully next year EA Sports can make some more improvements in perfecting this title and hopefully in the future make the online feature even deeper. Den abwechslungsreichen Wettbewerben, der fotorealistischen Grafik und nicht zuletzt dem exzellenten "Schlaggefühl" sei dank. Neben Links LS 2003 die derzeit beste Golfsimulation für den PC.

The predecessor to this game left much to be desired. Tiger Woods PGA 2003 fills in all the gaps previously left by 2002. Graphically, TW PGA 2003 is extremely well done, with attention to detail being fully applied by EA and the crew. If you're a competitive person by nature, you will really enjoy playing this game. And the prize pools are pretty generous if you can pull it off. With the edition of several new Pro golf courses and the crisp graphics and sound work by partners such as NVIDIA and ATI, EA have really come together on this project to make the gamers golfing experience as realistic and above all, as much fun as possible. With direct consultation from Tiger Woods himself, you couldnt have a better crew behind the creation of this golfing masterpiece.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 doesn't revolutionize computer golf sims as I expected it would, but it at least sends them in the right direction. The career mode and random challenges are a very nice touch, while the TrueSwing method and 3D rendered graphics do a little more in making the game feel a bit closer to...well, if not playing real golf, at least to watching real golf on TV. Ultimately, though, it's the challenge of the courses themselves that make and break games such as this, and that challenge is abundant here even if you're not taking on Tiger Woods himself...which I haven't. The guy's already made enough money with his winnings and endorsements, he doesn't need any fake computer money from me.

TW is one of the best golf games I've ever played. It has a huge number of game types, a robust career mode that allows players to make the golfer of their dreams, and has a great control scheme. I absolutely love the various Challenge game types, which in some ways are more fun to play than the actual game of golf itself.
