Overall, Trojan is a fun game with a nice variety of levels to traverse and an interesting mix of enemies to battle. Especially cool are the flying men with propellers on their backs.

It's kind of hard to decipher the genre of the game, Its a medieval side-scroller that suffers from many flaws. The fore ground is completely medieval, but the back ground has steel construction beams, fire barrels, and even a wrecked slug-bug! The gameplay is so-so but that isn't the main problem. The game badly needs a save function. The final boss is a huge intimidating warrior, which is easily beat is 15 seconds. A very disappointing end.

Although the game is fairly linear, you'll occasionally wander off the beaten path, by falling into a sewer for example. Some enemies look like knights with maces, and there's a red guy who looks suspiciously like M. Bison of Street Fighter II fame. Since Capcom made both games, it might not be a coincidence. I did encounter some minor problems with the jumping controls and collision detection, but overall Trojan is still a good time.

Tatakai no Banka features a compelling level design with a wide variety of locations, but you'll have to be dedicated and show patience to master the fiddly controls.

Other than a few unusual sprites Trojan is one big cliché. Gameplay is both highly predictable and highly aggravating - not worth the effort.
