Color Space Invaders

Description

This is the first commercial clone of Taito's Space Invaders for the Tandy Colour, and subsequently the Dragon. Its behaviour is almost exactly that of the original, with rows of aliens moving slowly in a zig-zag pattern across the screen, downwards to the player which can only move left and right. The player has three barriers to hide behind, but these are gradually worn down by alien shots. An additional small barrier can be moved around to cover the player as well. From time to time, a UFO worth extra points will cross the top of the screen. Fifteen difficulty levels are available.
