I haven't played this game personally, but, when comparing this entry to the Wikipedia article, it seems more like an early FPS. There's no role-playing as far as I can tell. There's no stats to level, and no dialogue-related choices and consequences.
There is no requirement of dialogue in Mobygames's RPG definition.

If you haven't played RPGs in the DOS era, you don't know what an RPG is.
The game has an inventory, weapons, monsters that don't look like Nazi's in Wolfenstein.
It's an oldskool 1st person perspective RPG. Dialogs, character development, classes, race, were once upon a time optional.
What was mandatory backthen was an inventory and a very big sword. And a visit to a local shopkeeper...or just plain looting and dropping stuff.
