Power Play
Dungeon Explorer ist einfach Spitze. Das “Gauntlet“-Prinzip wurde tüchtig aufgepeppt und mit ein paar Rollenspiel-Elementen versehen. Die Grafik ist super und
sogar noch besser aus als
beim “Gauntlet II“-Spielautomaen. Der Spieler wird außerdem vom unheimlich guten Stereosound verwöhnt.
Am meisten Spaß bringt das Spiel, wenn man mit mehreren Kumpels in den Verliesen rumläuft. Alleine geht‘s zwar auch, aber dadurch wird das Spiel gerade am Anfang schwerer. Die
vielen japanischen Texte im Spiel
geben Tips, aber Dungeon Explorer ist auch ohne diese Hinweise zu lösen. Wer eine PC
Engine hat und sich nicht “Dungeon Explorer“ kauft, ist selber
schuld.
