So, all in all, Parasol Stars is a timeless classic and is still a blast to play, and if the cute setting and characters don't bother you, then I highly advice you to pick up this game right away (despite its hefty price tag...)
Parasol Stars is tops! Fabulous graphics and charming, entertaining gameplay make this one a sure bet. OK, OK, there is one drawback - the music isn't so hot - but you can turn it down! Play it, you'll like it.
Parasol Stars is a very appealing game with addictive gameplay and plenty of levels to keep you going. Get hold of a friend and have double the fun in two-player mode.
All Game Guide
Parasol Stars is an amazingly fun game just because it's so simple to play. Simplicity in puzzle games almost always results in the player becoming immersed and addicted for hours and even days. This is a lassic that no puzzle game fan or anyone with a TurboGrafx 16 should be without.
Again, people may consider this game too simple, especially in an era of deep-story RPGs and fancy 3D graphics, but for a good, mindless romp where the biggest challenge is reaching the high score, Parasol Stars is it.
Actually, that's the biggest problem of this whole game: it's quite fun, colorful and works good, and it's way better than Rainbow Islands ... but it's just not Bubble Bobble. The original is still the best in the trilogy. It has better instant gameplay, a catchier tune and the tiny green and blue dinosaurs look a lot cuter than the dumb ass ginger kids.
Parasol Stars has simple play with moderate gaming difficulty. You can play by yourself as Bubby or, with the addition of a TurboTap, as Bobby. Yet solo gaming isn't anywhere near as exciting and interesting as gaming between two people. Bubby and Bobby can cooperate or even compete by flinging one another across the screen. Though still a bit light, Parasol Stars, nevertheless, makes a nice two-player arcade game.
