Vor allem wegen der sehr guten Steuerung spielt sich diese Mischung aus Jump-and-Run und Action hervorragend.

Bei Son San II finden Sie alles, was ein gutes Spiel auszeichnet: schöne Grafik, flotte Musik, einen gut ausgewogenen Schwierigkeitsgrad, versteckte Extras und Spielraum für verschiedene Taktiken. Man kann riskant auf Zeit spielen, um viele Bonus-Zennys zu bekommen oder in Ruhe jedes Schatztöpfchen aufschlagen, um Kleingeld zu sammeln. Absolut fantastisch ist die Steuerung: Springen, Zuhauen und sogar der Wechsel zwischen verschiedenen Extras gelingen flott und sicher. Der Spielwitz ist bei diesem Programm so hoch, daß sie so manche Nacht mit dem Joypad in der Hand begeistert durchwachen werden.

La réalisation de ce soft est irréprochable, et on n'a qu'à regarder le graphisme des différents personnages pour se rendre compte que ce jeu n'est pas tout à fait Occidental. La bande sonore présente tout au long de l'action est originale et s'adapte bien au style du jeu. En définitive, Son Son II est un bon jeu qui ravira les amateurs du genre.

Sonson II is one of the more playable works of the Mario/Shinobi school of game design, with the added 'bonus' of cutesy caricatures of the silly over-the-top Monkey characters so people lucky enough (what?!) to have seen the programme are likely to get more involved in the game. Experienced gamers may soon yawn at Sonson's cliches but most will find it a fun and highly enjoyable Japanese romp.
