The commentators on the game are names of some note. Johnathan Pearce is famed for his excitable and very loud delivery. In the early 90s he worked for London's Capital Gold radio station, and quickly established regular cries for every time one of the top London teams' strikers scored - "ready, steady, Teddy!" for Tottenham's Teddy Sheringham for example.

Ron Atkinson was a manager at the top level for over 20 years, before retiring into commentary, which he did until infamously making a racist remark about a Chelsea player without realizing that the broadcast was still being received in the Middle East.
