Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami

The material included in this game was originally scheduled to be released as DLC for Marvel vs. Capcom 3; however after the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami and health issues concerning the staff of developer Eighting, Capcom decided to release the remaining DLC as this game, and added additional content and rebalanced gameplay. The two DLC that had already been released for Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Jill Valentine from Capcom's Resident Evil series and Shuma-Gorath, remained applicable.
