Description
Set in the near future,
Universe at War: Earth Assault sees multiple enemy factions from across the galaxy come to Earth to wage war on an intergalactic scale.
The game sets itself apart from others in the genre by focusing on the differences between the three diverse alien factions. Each plays very differently; from the lumbering walkers of the Hierarchy to the rapid hit and run tactics of Novus, mastering one faction does not ensure success while playing as another. To further individualize game play, Petroglyph introduced a feature called Tactical Dynamics, allowing players to customize their chosen faction on the fly via unit upgrades, multiple heroes, a branching research tree, and more.
Players can do battle with the AI in the campaign, scenario, and skirmish game types, and online via Live in ranked, custom, and Conquer the World mode.
