This sequel is basically identical to its predecessor with improved graphics and sounds as well as a significant simplification of the game's controls. The story of this sequel continues the events of the original game and allows the player a more detailed view at the complex conflict between the alien race named Kri'iSara and the human race, which is constantly on the verge of destruction.

The mixture of real time strategy and action game can be compared with the Battlezone series from Activision Inc.
