In 2007, Rare Video Game Auctions published a list of the most rare and pricy games ever released. Ultima: Escape from Mt. Drash is ranked 9th with $2500+.

Mt. Drash is actually a location in Ultima I. Although the game does not have many ties with the Ultima series, Sierra named the game Ultima in hopes that it would sell better, but without Garriott's permission - Garriott held the rights to the Ultima name.
