Description

The Visitor Returns is the sequel to the 2007 horror game The Visitor. The alien parasite from before has returned once again to wreak havoc and prey on the people and creatures of Earth. After crash landing in a dark forest; the parasite needs to use its wits and survival instinct to change elements of its surroundings in order to hunt and devour different creatures. After eating prey, the parasite will gain different attributes and abilities to enable it to attack more efficiently. However, even though you get more powers throughout the game, the difficulty gets much tougher as you progress the levels.

The player controls the movements of the alien parasite by clicking on it, as well as different environmental objects which can also cause the parasite's prey to lose their guard. A major change from the previous game is that most of the animals and humans can actually fight back and kill the parasite if the player doesn't interact with the objects correctly, or on time. Getting the parasite killed will cause the level to reset, giving the player another chance to correct their mistakes.

Although The Visitor Returns has a very linear approach much like the previous game, it makes up for it by providing twice as many different endings, depending on the actions you take in the last part of the game, and the order in which you carry them out.
