The sequel to the original Wallbreaker introduces a new setting, this Breakout variant takes place on the Island of Zorg. Phil and Harriet are treasure hunting, but they need to cross the entire island to collect loot. In the main Adventure mode, you can alternately choose one of the players to finish a level. Quick games on random levels are also available.

In Wallbreaker 2 you control a paddle at the bottom of the screen you use to bounce back a ball to remove bricks at the top. If all bricks are removed without missing the ball too many times, you win the stage and move on. During gameplay you collect coins, defeat enemies that appear and collect power-ups until the entire screen is cleared. Power-ups and power-downs enlarge your paddle, make it faster or even sea-sick, freeze it, flip the controls, provide a manual laser gun, a sticky ball or a safety net, etc. When you defeat an enemy, Phil or Harriet often initiate a short discussion before you can continue playing.
