Description

The War Engine is a strategy game development kit. The extensive game creation tools are bundled with seven professionally developed games built with The War Engine. These games serve to show off the construction set's versatility and to provide would be strategy game developers with a starting point for their own game development.

The seven titles included are:

• Armies of Armageddon. A squad based sci-fi combat game. Lead your men into battle in the far future. This game was released by Boku Games in 2000 as Armies of Armageddon: WDK-2K. The editing tools that shipped with the original Armies of Armageddon: WDK-2K were the basis for The War Engine.

• Tour of Duty '44. Squad based combat set in the European Theater of WWII. Follow your band of soldiers as they land on the beaches until they reach their objective of St Lo in France.

• The Northern Realm Saga. A Fantasy wargame. Follow your men as they weave their way through this epic tale.

• Global War: Total Conflict. An operational wargame that puts you in command of military forces in WWII.

• Paintball! The most graphically impressive game of the seven. All of the fun of paintball with none of the cleanup.

• TRL. A desperate war is being fought in the near future in the nuclear wastelands of the former American States. Lead your mechanized forces to victory in this time of need.

• Warspace. Space Combat. The battle is joined when large fleets of starships clash in this look at futuristic naval combat.
